Remember The Importance Of A Good Mattress

It’s very easy to forget that if you’re snoring, sleeping uncomfortably, and waking up tired, then maybe it’s time to look at upgrading your mattress. It’s also quite true that a lot of snorers are doing so because they are sleeping in an uncomfortable position.

A study published in a 2006 issue of the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine noted that back discomfort was significantly reduced by the introduction of a new mattress. It’s been advised that your mattress needs replacing around every 8 to 10 years. A good new mattress is seen as a key to a good night’s sleep.

There’s also a growing research consensus which shows that people who have bad sleep end up having health issues like increased blood pressure, diabetes, colds, and also issues like obesity, which as we all know is on the rise seemingly everywhere.

Conversely, if you get good sleep, this can help with weight loss, and this has even been advocated by celebrities as the latest lifestyle tip for staying young and beautiful.  Studies have also linked it with improved athletic performance, enhanced creativity, and a whole wealth of other health benefits.

These days, more and more mattresses are coming on to the market with Memory foam, and now models like the Italian Dormeo Memory, which uses this and some next-gen fabrics to help you get a good night’s sleep.

This, in itself, is a good thing, but you might well find that if you’re sleeping comfortably on a good mattress, it might well help your snoring go away, as well!
